I believe the young man at left is the same as the one between two women in white in the postcard I just listed

with no chips or cracks at all that I can see

I'd be inclined to call these mugs perfect--just luminous with their hand-painted soft green and blue stripes over bright white slip

and in fact he makes me think of Saint Francis in the wild
